Committed to Community Involvement in
South Hadley & Across the Globe

At Newton Street Dental, we’re passionate about providing service for our friends and neighbors in South Hadley – both in our office and throughout the community. Dr. Douglas Leigh and our entire team participate in a variety of community events. We are proud supporters of the Smiles for Life program, promote dental education in local schools, and participate in the South Hadley Fall Fest and Farmers Markets. We also hold a teddy bear drive for local children.

Get Involved

  • Smiles for Life

From March through June, Newton Street Dental will be participating with Smiles For Life, an organization set up through members of the Crown Council, an alliance of dentists worldwide that continue their education and serve their communities through charitable work while focusing on treating patients, not just teeth.

The professional whitening done in the office will help to raise money for the seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged kids in their local communities all over the world.

After the appointment, the patient will make their payment for their teeth bleaching procedure to the Smiles For Life Foundation. 50% of that payment will be designated for a local charity. The remainder is given to a Smiles For Foundation approved charity.

Smiles For Life has provided donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Tribute to the Troops, Ronald McDonald House, and the Salvation Army.

The website to donate is Whiten your teeth and help a child.

  • International Dental Implant Association

The Association recognized Dr. Leigh for completing 30 hours of complex and sophisticated implant surgeries on Oct. 26-28, 2017. He dedicated his time and effort to the charity mission to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
